This RO Tank is shipped without a pre-charge in the bladder to comply with D.O.T. Title 49 regulation.                   

This tank must be filled with air at the time of install.

Failure to do so will result in RO System not functioning.

Using with MRS100, MRS225 & MRS350: tank should be filled to minimum PSI required by equipment. For example; 20 PSI for a faucet. 

Using with MRS600HE-I and HE-II: tank should be filled to 48-50 PSI.

Drain water from tank and check storage tank pre-charge pressure on an annual basis. 

Sanitize storage tank on an annual basis.

As pre-charge pressure varies, so does stored water volume and usable pressure.

To follow are two simple descriptions of that relationship when all other factors remain equal:
◆ Lower pre-charge pressures allow the storage tank to accept more water, but water pressure diminishes more rapidly as water is drawn.
◆ Higher pre-charge pressures allow the storage tank to accept less water, but water pressure diminishes less rapidly as water is drawn. Rapid on-off cycling of the RO system may indicate insufficient pre-charge pressure. Drain water from tank and check pre-charge, then adjust as necessary.
